Chandrapur,(Dt. 1March ): The Minister of Forests, Cultural Affairs, Fisheries and Guardian Minister of the district Sudhir Mungantiwar are always trying to provide infrastructure facilities to the citizens in the rural and urban areas of the district. Due to their consistent follow-up funds of 25 crores have been sanctioned for Mool, Ballarpur Nagar Parishad and Pombhurna Nagar Panchayat through special grant under special scheme. The government decision in this regard was issued on February 29, 2024.
Municipal councils in the state are given special grants for special work. Under this, 12 crore 34 lakh 97 thousand rupees have been approved for Ballarpur Nagar Parishad, 6 crore 25 lakh 3 thousand rupees for Mool Nagar Parishad and 6 crore 40 lakh rupees for Pombhurna Nagar Panchayat, totaling 25 crore rupees.
Works sanctioned under Ballarpur Municipal Council include development of open spaces, construction of protection wall in open space, construction of volleyball ground in Ballarashah Vekoli complex, sprinkler and water management, construction of separator gallery, construction of new toilet block and changing room, renovation of existing pavilion building. and development of sports and infrastructural facilities in Vekoli Complex, development of Telugu Community Cemetery as well as C.C. Ballarpur Nagar Parishad will get 12 crore 34 lakh 97 thousand rupees for road construction etc.
Construction of sewage treatment plant at Mutton Market under Mula Nagar Parishad, N.P. 6 crores 25 lakhs 3 thousand rupees have been sanctioned to Mula Nagar Parishad for the construction of various internal roads, CC roads in various wards, construction of levees and drains, development of open spaces. 6 crore 40 lakh rupees have been approved for Pombhurna Nagar Panchayat, which includes construction of internal roads, construction of drains, purchase of dustbins for the Nagar Panchayat, installation of additional electricity poles in the city, desilting of water supply wells and repair of wells as well as purchase of additional motor pumps for water supply scheme etc. Works included.
