Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya has organised One Day Training Program under ‘Paris Sparsh Scheme’

Chimur- The “Paris Sparsh Scheme” is a mentorship program initiated by the Government of Maharashtra to enhance the quality of higher education in the state. It aims to guide and support colleges that are not yet NAAC/NBA accredited to undergo the assessment and accreditation process. This initiative leverages the expertise of accredited colleges (mentors) to assist unaccredited colleges (mentees) in improving their quality and achieving accreditation.
For the successful implementation of this Yojana, the Gondwana University, Gadchiroli have chosen Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya, Chimur as a Mentor institution to guide and help mentee institutions for their NAAC accreditation. The Mentee institutions are namely; Arts & Commerce College, Bhisi, Y. S. Pawar Mahavidyalaya, Neri, and Swa. Dagoji Pise Mahavidyalaya, Neri.
Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya will help this mentee institutes to improve their quality through Accreditation Support, Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing, and, Institutional Development etc. Through this program, the mentee institutes will be benefitted via; Guidance on NAAC and NBA accreditation, Support in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Training for faculty and staff on relevant processes and documentation, Opportunities for research collaboration and faculty development, Adoption of best practices, etc.
Mentor institute will also be benefitted with Opportunities for increased collaboration with other institutions, Satisfaction from helping other institutions improve, and, Potential advantages in NIRF rankings and NAAC accreditation.
Under this program, meetings and workshops will be organised at regular interval. Also, person to person meetings and discussions will be held between criteria heads of mentor institute and criteria heads of mentee institutes.
On 1st August, 2025, in continuation of the various activities under “Paris Sparsh Scheme”, the Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya, Chimur has organised *‘Workshop/Training program for Understanding Methodology and Processes of NAAC’* for the mentee institutes. The event was chaired by Dr. Sunanda Aswale, Principal, Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya, Chimur, whereas, Dr. Aparna Dhote, IQAC co-ordinator, N. S. College Bhadravati and Dr. Nilesh Thaokar, IQAC co-ordinator, Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya Chimur were present as Resource Person of this workshop. Also, the heads of the criteria 1 to 7 of the mentor institute, namely, Dr. Varada Khati, Mr. Nagesh Dhore, Mr. Vivek Manik, Mr. Sandeep Meshram, Dr. Mrunal Warhade, Dr. Bijankumar Shil and Dr. Yuvraj Bodhe were present to discuss respective criteria with the criteria heads of the mentee institutes.
The resource person, Dr. Aparna Dhote has guided and discussed various methodologies and processes involved in NAAC accreditation. She also explains various hurdles and their possible solutions during the processes. Resource person, Dr. Nilesh Thaokar explained various processes involved in IIQA and SSR. During the presidential speech, Dr. Sunanda Aswale also guided the mentee institute and promised to cooperate them till their NAAC accreditation.
All the Principals, IQAC coordinators and all criteria heads of the mentor and mentee institutes were present during the training program.
