Chandrapur : The National Cooperative Federation of India , New Delhi organizes the All India Cooperative Week every year from 14th to 20th November in the country . This year too, the 72nd All India Cooperative Week is being celebrated on the occasion of the International Cooperative Year 2025 and the Cooperative Week is being celebrated in the state and district on behalf of the Maharashtra State Cooperative Federation . The main concept of this year’s Cooperative Week is ‘ Cooperatives as a medium for a self-reliant India ‘ .
All cooperatives should inform their office bearers and members about the Cooperative Week and implement public-facing programs like member education and training programs , hoisting of cooperative flag , tree plantation and cleanliness of the premises on the following special days during the Cooperative Week . Strict vigilance should be taken to ensure that the code of conduct is not violated while implementing these activities .
On November 14 , use digitalization to increase operational efficiency, accountability and transparency in cooperatives , on November 15 , bring about radical changes in cooperatives through research and education / training at Tribhuvan Cooperative University, on November 16, strengthen rural development through cooperatives , on November 17 , determine a transparent framework / policy for the development of cooperatives in India through the National Cooperative Policy Ecosystem , on November 18 , empower young women and weaker sections like handicrafts , handloom , labor and fisheries through cooperative entrepreneurship , on November 19 , expand cooperatives in entrepreneurial areas like tourism , health , green energy and any other potential sector , on November 20 , create new business quality enterprises in cooperatives to participate in global competition , the District Cooperative Development Officer’s Office has informed that such activities should be implemented .
