Pune:- Bahujan Samaj Party’s state general secretary and chief in-charge of Western Maharashtra Dr. Hulgesh Chalwadi claimed on Monday (13) that the secret alliance between BJP, which is politically based on Hindutva ideology, and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena is dangerous for Bahujans. BJP has succeeded in its experiment of Mahavikas Aghadi to divide the votes of Bahujans. Dr. Chalwadi also claimed that after a huge victory, the picture is emerging that BJP-Uddhav Thackeray will come together again.
When the ruling party and the opposition are ‘like-minded’, social change and equality cannot be expected. Established political parties have always ignored the Bahujans. Using the policy of equality-reward-punishment-discrimination, they keep the Bahujans away from power. Dr. Chalwadi said that if the political ‘backlog’ of the Bahujans in politics is to be eliminated, then the Bahujan Samaj Party is the only ‘think tank’. If the suffering, exploited, deprived and marginalized at the grassroots are to be made a ‘ruling community’ according to the ideas of Honorable Kanshi Ram ji and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Ms. Mayawati ji, then a united political fight will have to be waged against the establishment.
This year, Bahujan Samaj will show its seats to parties that are manipulating EVMs to grab the votes of voters. Dr. Chalwadi also demanded that the local body elections scheduled by the Election Commission should be held on ballot papers instead of EVMs. Bahujan Samaj Party, whether it is BJP, Shiv Sena or Congress-NCP, will not allow Congress to succeed in its anti-Bahujan experiment. In the upcoming local body elections, BSP will present the intentions of political parties established in the minds of the grassroots people before the Bahujans.
