NSG organises 100-km Cyclothon in honour of 26/11 Hero Maj Sandeep Unnikrishnan

Mumbai(12 October):-The 26 Special Composite Group of the National Security Guard (NSG) conducted a Cyclothon in memory of Maj Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Ashok Chakra, the valiant hero of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, in Mumbai today, October 12th.  

Flagged off at 0700 AM from the Gateway of India, the Cyclothon went through Navi Mumbai and culminated at NSG Camp at Powai covering a distance of 100 kilometers. The event witnessed participation from over 250 cyclists, including NSG personnel, citizens and healthcare professionals.

To enhance public engagement, street plays on Cervical Cancer Awareness were performed along the route, drawing enthusiastic participation and spreading vital health messages.

As part of continued outreach, NSG Medical Teams will be visiting Mumbai Schools on 13 and 14 Oct 25 for interactive sessions on Cervical Cancer prevention and general health awareness.
