Mumbai-(Date 13): The government’s digital media policy will be prepared soon to disseminate information about various government schemes, initiatives , government decisions, etc. to the public quickly and effectively. For this, artificial intelligence (AI) technology will be used in the coming period. At the same time, information about government schemes will be disseminated to the public through effective use of various new media, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said here today.
Chief Minister Shri. Fadnavis today reviewed the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations regarding the 100-day plan of the state government. Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik , Principal Secretary and Director General of ‘ Information and Public Relations ‘ Brijesh Singh and others were present on this occasion.
Principal Secretary and Director General Shri. Singh presented the 100-day plan of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations through a presentation. Emphasis should be placed on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the work of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that information about government schemes should be disseminated to the public by preparing a digital media policy and making effective use of new media.
Mr. Fadnavis said , a coffee table book should be prepared for the dignitaries visiting the state showing various aspects of Maharashtra. It is necessary to inform the people about the decisions, schemes and initiatives being taken by the state government through all media. To create the image of the state government and to disseminate information, an AI newsroom should be created and information should be disseminated through it as soon as possible. For this, necessary materials and manpower should be procured. Health and various other welfare schemes for journalists should be accelerated. Plans should be made to distribute journalist awards as soon as possible , the Chief Minister also directed.
Reference room at the state level
Chief Minister Shri. Fadnavis also said that a research and reference room should be established at the state level to make all information about government schemes and initiatives available at one place. Also , a digital media policy should be prepared soon to disseminate information about schemes and decisions to the public through digital media, along with newspapers and electronic media.
