Mumbai(date.26):- Famous singer and rapper Raftaar is all set to make his acting debut with Jio Studios’ upcoming web series ‘Bajao’. To get into the character, Raftaar even stopped talking to people on the set, he used to remain very quiet. When asked about this, he says, “I never talk to anyone before or even after giving my take on the set. Sitting quietly on a chair without talking anything, just kept watching the rest of the characters. I tried to understand them which helped me to get comfortable in my character.
He further adds, “A lot of references have been taken from my life for this show. Agreed that some things are exaggerated but I have also faced difficulties, I am also living sad, I also have fun, I love music very much, so this character was not far from me.
Directed by Shiv Verma and Saptaraj Chakraborty, Bajao is a comedy web series revolving around three boys, a bindaas girl and a rapper and takes you on a hilarious entertainment ride with a tinge of Punjabi hip hop music and peppy rap. Bajao This web series will be shown on Jio Cinema from 25 August.
