RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center conducted TB test for 5000 people in Surat

Guinness Book of World Records holder, RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center organized a health camp with an aim to eliminate TB in Gujarat. The event, titled ‘TB Mukt Maha Arogya Shivir’, was supported by SBI Foundation, and was organized on August 20 at Dindoli Limbayat, Surat. The camp brought together over 100 medical professionals, meeting the healthcare needs of the people as well as raising awareness about TB prevention and care.
The health camp at Dindoli Limbayat was a remarkable success, in which more than 5000 persons who got tested for TB participated. The dedicated team of the medical center not only diagnosed the cases but also provided guidance on preventive measures. The impact of the camp was further enhanced by the distribution of ration kits to TB patients and their families, exemplifying a comprehensive approach to public health and welfare. Apart from this, nutritious food was also provided to the patients undergoing TB test.
Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, President of RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center is committed to make Gujarat a TB free state. This effort marks a remarkable progress towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of TB elimination by 2025. Through widespread TB testing and providing essential care, the effort aims to substantially reduce the prevalence of TB in the region.
The fight against TB in India continues unabated, and the RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center in Gujarat is at the forefront of this fight. Their determined efforts contribute significantly to the national mission to eradicate TB. The health camp in Dindoli, Surat, is one of the many initiatives by the RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center to raise awareness about the disease and offer early detection and treatment.
In addition, conducting tests through the RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center and giving priority to community education and counselling. By raising awareness, they empower individuals to quickly recognize the symptoms of TB and seek medical help promptly. The efforts of this medical center are spread across various areas of Gujarat including Surat, Dang, Bharuch and Vyara, where they have conducted several TB testing and awareness programs
